If you are looking for absolute privacy, this place is for you. NO WIFI, so come prepared for that. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Absolutely secluded and surrounded by nature. We saw a ton of deer. It was surreal how quiet it is. It was an excellent get away from the nonstop chaos of real life. Watch out for the massive pothole in the driveway, it will swallow one of the wheels of your car.

We had a great time at Robert's cabin. It is a perfect place to unplug and have some time just to yourself. We loved the local grocery store and diner in Evart. It was a really fun experience for us and Robert was very helpful for anything we needed.

We've stayed here 2 times now and it's a perfect hassle free relaxing getaway. Our dog might love it more than us, but its always nice and quiet and even better when the weather is great!

Great place to relax and chill... no tv, wifi, video games -it was glorious! We saw deer, turkeys, lots of birds and animal tracks. The fire pit was nice, we had marshmallows and played in the snow for hours; even found some old old skies buried in the snow... All the appliances work well. The place was at 55° when we arrived but warmed up to 70° within a few hours and stayed warm. Plenty of hot water for showers and dishes but not great water pressure (esp in the kitchen). There was hand soap in the bathroom but not the kitchen. Plenty of clean towels and bedding. There are no curtains (which bothered my son but it didn't bother me- there is nothing and nobody around anyway). The house itself is beautiful. A lovely real log cabin. My boys said to make sure I include in my review that the cabin was "awesome" and "cool". I'd say that is a good review from teenage boys 😀

This was a great place to stay! We enjoyed watching the deer come and go. It sets back from the road and is surround by trees. Even with the winter's bare trees, we had privacy and felt like we were the only ones around. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. Robert was very responsive with communicating and a great host. The instructions were easy to follow for check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great secluded cabin in a beautiful part of Michigan. The place is clean and modern and Robert is very quick to respond to any concerns. We woke up to find deer wandering around just outside. It's about a 15 minute drive to an Amish market for anything you forgot to bring

Wow, this place is beautiful! 7 of us came to stay at Roberts House for a weekend. It's tucked away in a beautiful valley and very secluded. The cabin it self was so pretty, very new and very classic style. We took a trip into Evart our first night and ate a diner, came back and had a fire. The second day we stayed on the property, going for hikes, watching scary movies and cooking food. Plenty of space to lay out a few air mattresses. 2 of us stayed in the upstairs bedroom, one in the downstairs and 1 on a couch, the rest had plenty of room to lay out our mattresses. I wanted to mention the layout because at no point did I feel like we were cramped or walking on top of each other. The house heated nicely. The stove was great. The water pressure in the kitchen is a little weak but it worked out just fine. I loved the shower and the bathroom was way nicer than I expected it to be. The property is the high point though. We took a couple walks around during the day and both mornings we woke up to dear eating apples in the 'front' lawn. This place is a great escape from anything. The stars are breath taking. I look forward to coming to stay again.

This is an amazing cabin in a remote and peaceful location. If you love nature and want to immerse yourself in it to recharge your batteries I can't recommend this place enough! Robert is an excellent host that will try his best to make your stay enjoyable!

This was a gorgeous log cabin in a beautiful setting, we were there in October & the deer were out near the house every morning & evening munching on apples. The air mattress is not on-hand at the cabin though so if you need it be sure to ask Robert. Unless he changed it on the site :) Robert was a great host, always responding quickly, and very helpful with my questions. I also highly recommend the 7th Street Coffee Co that is in the neighborhood of Evart! We had an amazing time with our kids cooking over the fire & walking the trails. Everything was so peaceful & just the relaxation that I needed.

This cabin was the perfect secluded get away. On the outside you have 20 acres to roam with 2 firepits and all kinds of nature including many deer and birds. On the inside. You have a beautiful spacious cabin with plenty of room to entertain. The owner always responded promptly. We will definitely be booking another stay.

This cabin is a unique opportunity to get away from it all. Nestled in Michigan farm country it is a secluded oasis of nature. Apple trees, hiking trails, flowers, wild life, and woods were very abundant. I even spotted 4 sand hill cranes flying overhead. We travel with our 2 dogs and they had lots of room to run and explore. The cabin was beautiful with many unique accents. The loft has a beautiful hand made bed that is very comfortable. Kitchen had all the necessary items for the stay. If you are looking for a few lazy, quiet days this is the place. You can also easily travel to and from Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes in one day. I highly recommend Bob and his cabin. He was very responsive to any questions and I appreciate him allowing the dogs to stay.
